Bob Eggleton

The following photos are from Bob Eggleton's visit to the Melbourne Science Fiction Club. Bob won the 1996 Hugo Award for Best Professional Artist. The main event of the evening was a debate on The Image of Women in SF. Bob kindly offered to be on the panel.

Bob signing

Bob signed some copies of his latest book, much to the joy of local SF bookshop owner, Justin Ackroyd.

the panel

Sharon Moseley makes a point. Also on the panel are, from left to right, Bev Hope, Claire McKenna, Danny Heap, Bob and Terry Frost. Justin Semmel is in the background.

Three wise monkeys

Someone has just told Bob that he's sitting between two guys who edit a fanzine called Fans Behaving Badly.

Proud father

Lucy Ackroyd attends her first fannish event.
